What is advertising?

An advertisement (often shortened to advert or ad) is the promotion of a product, brand or service to a viewership in order to attract interest, engagement and sales. Advertising is about creating an image or awareness. It’s about selling stuff. Brand awareness simply means I have heard of your product or service but it doesn’t mean I trust you, or I’m going to buy from you.

Advertisements come in many forms, from copy to interactive video, and have evolved with creative image.

Advertising messages themselves are designed to persuade an individual to buy a company’s goods or services. Advertisements are an assured way of reaching an audience. By creating an engaging ad with creative layout, catchy content, powerful visual can have an immediate impact on business.
